The quaint town of Churchill, Manitoba, leads a double life. This cold and misty blue universe comes to life each fall when polar bears migrate south to hunt seals. The presence of these creatures lured in by the odor of restaurants and trash cans becomes a tourist attraction and a source of income for the inhabitants. Amoros humorously captures the tug of war between humans and nature, as night sirens bellow through snowy patrolled streets, helicopters fly overhead and organized bus expeditions and media reporters navigate their way through this winter wonderland. Complexities arise when these two worlds merge.
