Muôi Amy Miller

Single mother, hip-hop dancer, new motorcycle rider, amateur photographer: Muôi Hong is a multi-talented woman whose great integrity and many passions are matched by her zest for life. In her early thirties, she is exploring the complexities of her queer identity and eclectic personality within a traditional environment in Vietnam that isn’t always willing to understand or welcome her. Through her many interests, she finds the strength to heal the wounds and traumas of her childhood and adult life, while looking to the future with hope. Muôi offers rare insight into the life of an inspiring, motivated woman with affection and acts as a call to non-conformity and self-renewal.
