In New Delhi, two brothers completely devote themselves to saving birds that keep falling from the sky, suffocated by the toxic pollution of the Indian capital. Most of the birds treated in the brothers’ basement clinic are black kites. Despite their important role in the ecosystem, these birds are considered pariahs due to their carnivorous habits. With discrimination against Muslims fueling a rise in tension in the community, the disregard for these birds echoes the local sociopolitical situation. This warm-hearted story depicts the urban jungle as a part of an ecosystem that, like society, is on the verge of collapse.
