A conversation between Jacquelyn Mills and Leandro Listorti, directors of Geographies of Solitude and Herbaria – two fascinating films from the 2022 RIDM line-up. By honing in on the creative and production process that gave rise to their films, this dialogue will touch upon the fragility of materials they work with, the importance of film processing to their overall creative process, archiving, conservation, and the relationship with elements of nature.
