This session follows the publication of the study “Crafting a market for independent XR” undertaken by Quebec/Canada XR with the support of the Canada Council for the Arts, the City of Montreal and the Government of Quebec, in partnership with MUTEK, Xn Quebec, PHI, the Festival du nouveau cinéma (FNC) and the Montreal International Documentary Festival (RIDM). For this panel, industry professionals, producers and new media artists will come together to reflect on the initial study and, more specifically, to consider distribution methods for XR documentary works.
