A CONNECTED ONE-ON-ONE PITCH,
THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET NEW INDUSTRY REPRESENTATIVES
Montreal, Thursday, October 8, 2020 - The Forum RIDM is proud to present the industry representatives who will be attending the One-on-One Pitches for the first time this year.
The One-on-One Pitch, which is the biggest event in its market, will take place during the first days of the Forum RIDM on November 12 and 13, 2020. It will consist of two half-days of one-on-one virtual meetings between producers, filmmakers and industry representatives: public and private broadcasters, distributors, sales agents, festival programmers, institutions and fund representatives.
This year, the One-on-One Pitches will host 62 companies, 36 of which are national and 26 international. The participants will be able to choose between 22 broadcasters, 17 distributors, 15 festivals and 8 institutes and funds. This is a unique opportunity to form new partnerships and increase the scope of new projects.

For filmmakers with a project at an advanced editing stage who would like to present it before a panel of experts.

Call for LOJIQ applications - until October 13
For documentary professionals between 18 and 35 years old who wish to participate in the Forum RIDM. LOJIQ - Les offices jeunesse internationaux du Québec, in collaboration with the Forum RIDM, offers fixed allowance between $285 and $325 to participants selected to the virtual edition of the Forum.

Professional pairing for emerging participants in collaboration with Doc Québec until October 27
The Forum RIDM, in collaboration with Doc Québec, allows an emerging filmmaker to be paired with an experienced producer who is a member of DOC Québec. This pairing will allow the selected filmmakers to break the ice while receiving advice on how to best navigate the Forum.

Call for projects: FranC doc - until November 1st
The production company FranC doc is offering a $2,000 writing and development grant in cash and services to an emerging filmmaker based in the Quebec region and accredited at the RIDM 2020 Forum.
